How long does it take? The Executive Coaching relationship lasts as until the Executive has reached his/her clearly expressed goals. These will have been agreed at the initial coaching meeting. In most instances the Designer Life coaching program runs for 4 months. The Personal Power program usually lasts just 6 weeks. Formal Career Transition Coaching usually continues for 6 months after the Staff member has left the organisation. During this time your coach helps you to identify and set goals, adapts your personal beliefs to meet your goals, clears potential blocks and ensures that your values are aligned with your short and long term outcomes. We find that our clients keep in touch to share their growth and successes, after the formal coaching period has finished. The Designer Life program assists in bringing all of these into alignment to help you easily create your outcomes. How do I choose a Coach? The relationship between you and your coach is unique. When choosing a coach look for one that you trust, respect and feel confident you can build a relationship with. Why does Coaching Work?Coaching is a natural part of our development, from the time our parents coached us to walk, talk, sing, read and write. Success in any venture is achieved more easily when you have someone working along side you assisting, pointing the way, giving honest and encouraging feedback and cheering you along the way. Whilst we have all had coaches as part of our development, we do not often have the experience of having another human being completely focussed upon our development in our adult life. This is an energising and truly liberating experience.
